2011 Race Results:
Congratulations to everyone that completed the Smuttynose Rockfest Half and Full Marathon. While the rain dampend the after-race party, it did nothing to slow down all our hardy runners and walkers who participated. Actually, I heard many had excellent times and personal bests. The LOCO folks are still drying out here, but we want to thank all our volunteers for standing out there in the driving rain to make this day a safe and special one. And of course thank all of you for making the race a success under adverse conditions.
Also a short apology: our water stop crew at mile 11 and mile 24 never appeared! We are mortified and can only promise to work hard to insure this does not happen again. Luckily Mother Nature provided some cool water to make up for it..

Join us in Hampton, NH, in 2012!
The Smuttynose Rockfest will include two races, a half marathon and a full marathon. The half marathon will travel on a course identical to 2011. The full marathon will do one loop of the half marathon, then branch off at about mile 11 and go further into Hampton and North Hampton. The second loop of the marathon will contain 5 new miles of this new course, then 8 miles or so of the first loop.
As of right now, the elevation guide we have shows this to be the flattest course in New England for a Marathon, and half marathon. The course will be certified and a Boston Qualifier with a start mat for both races..
The course is already certified and is a Boston Qualifier for the 2014 race.
Celebrate your walk or run at Hampton Beach with an after-race feast including Smuttynose beer and a live Rock BAND!
